At Fireburn Heritage, we believe in the power of stories to educate, inspire, and connect communities. Recently, our Executive Director and Founder, Angela Golden Bryan, was honored to participate in a special literacy event organized by the St. Thomas Rotary Club in collaboration with the V.I. Children’s Museum. This event brought Anna and the Goat Foot Woman: A Story of Gratitude Inspired by Caribbean Folktales to second-grade students at Sibilly Elementary School.
Through the generosity of the Rotary Club, each student received their own copy of this cherished book, allowing them to take home a piece of Caribbean heritage and foster a love for reading. Angela’s reading session was a heartwarming experience, engaging young minds with the themes of gratitude and cultural pride.
Thank you St. Thomas Rotary for the opportunity to partner with you once again!
